
Chuck Hauser serves as General Counsel for the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD). He also serves as General Counsel for the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA), a regional organization responsible for water resource planning, management, treatment and transmission to local water agencies that collectively serve 1.8 million residents and nearly 40 million annual visitors.
Hauser, who has served in this capacity for 10 years, oversees the organizations’ legal team and provides legal advice to the SNWA and LVVWD Board of Directors. Previously, he was a Chief Deputy District Attorney, civil division, for Clark County, where he provided counsel to the Board of Clark County Commissioners and represented several county agencies.
A member of both the Nevada and California state bars, Hauser graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and also earned a degree in business administration and real estate from Southern Methodist University in Texas.
Hauser remains active with the State Bar of Nevada and has served as chairman of the organization’s Public Lawyer section. He and his wife, Stephanie, have two children.
