How to Subscribe

There are two ways to subscribe to the RSS feeds:

  1. If you're using IE7, Firefox, Safari or Opera, you can view RSS feeds in the browser. Click the link to the feed above and choose a subscription option on the next page.
  2. If you're using an older browser, copy and paste the URL for the feed into a news reading program (also called an "aggregator").

What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and it allows you to receive updated information from a Web site without having to visit that Web site.

First, subscribe to an RSS news reader or news aggregator. Then, follow the "How to Subscribe" instructions above to subscribe to the LVVWD Press Room news. When the district adds a news release to the Press Room, it will download automatically to your news reader. Check your news reader to see the latest news from the district and other Web sites to which you subscribe.

There are thousands of RSS feeds available from many different Web sites. Subscribe to the news and information that interests you most and find the latest headlines combined in your news reader.
