The rates below are effective May 1, 2008 (for April 2008 consumption). The following information outlines the increase in Service Charges, tier rates and the compression of thresholds.

Tier Threshold Changes
For single-family residential properties, the amount of water customers get in each tier is changing based on meter size. The changes in tiers proposed are as follows:

Definition of Tier and Threshold
Utilities use tiers and thresholds to determine rates and income. At the Water District, a tier is the amount of water received at a specified rate. A threshold is the point at which one tier moves to another. |
