Searchlight Water System

Searchlight is known for it's mining history

The Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) owns, operates and maintains the Searchlight Water System, which is governed by the Las Vegas Valley Water District board of directors. The board has sole responsibility for establishing rates, rules and regulations for the sale, distribution and use of water within Searchlight.

Searchlight Source Water

Searchlight water comes from groundwater. Rain and snowmelt from the Lucy Gray Range, Castle Mountains and the McCullough Mountains feed the valley groundwater aquifer that supplies the Searchlight Water System.

Service Rules

To learn more about the water system, read the Service Rules.
