or landscape? The Gardens at the Springs Preserve is the place to
go for desert gardening information.
The eight-acre botanical Gardens at the Springs Preserve features a wide range of desert landscapes and teaches guests about native and non-native desert plant life through interpretive stations and hands-on activity.
The Gardens also offers educational classes that provide active learning opportunities for children, adults and teachers through lectures, tours and hands-on workshops.
Unique features of the garden facility include the Watering Can Theater for irrigation instruction, the Tool Shed Theater for children, a weather station with real-time weather data, the Enabling Garden which demonstrates options for people who have physical challenges and the Frame House, a 70-seat kitchen area for outdoor cooking demonstrations.
