Drought AlertLandscape Watering Restrictions

During any drought stage, all customers must comply with these restrictions unless the property qualifies as a park or as a property restricted by water budgets.

Time-of-Day Restriction

During all stages of drought, sprinkler irrigation is prohibited between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. from May 1 to Sept. 30.

Mandatory Watering Assignments

Sprinkler irrigation is restricted to a certain number of days during drought declarations, based on the current stage of drought and the season. The district has assigned each customer a watering group. Sprinkler watering is allowed only on the days for your assigned watering group.See the district's mandatory drought watering schedule for details.

Find your watering group on snwa.com or view a map of watering groups in the Water District service area.
