The Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of Clark County Commissioners. An Executive Team oversees the daily operations.
The LVVWD Board of Directors meets the first Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. in the Clark County Commission Chambers located at 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy. The meetings are open to the public and notices are posted publicly before each meeting.
Daily operations of the Water District are overseen by the LVVWD Executive Team:
The public may speak at LVVWD Board of Directors meetings after all matters listed on the official agenda have been discussed and/or at special public meetings. On occasion, LVVWD forms Citizens Advisory Committees to address special issues and topics such as water rates and conservation.
The Rates and Service Rules Citizen Advisory Committee began meeting in February 2016 to evaluate future initiatives related to Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) funding, planning, service rules, conservation and facilities construction and maintenance. The committee will meet throughout the year and develop recommendations for presentation to the LVVWD Board of Directors, which will provide the ultimate policy direction. The LVVWD Board appointed nine local citizens who represent diverse groups of regional stakeholders to serve as committee members.
