OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT "MY ACCOUNT" GIVEAWAY  

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR OTHER CONSIDERATION OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

INTERNET ACCESS IS REQUIRED. AN LVVWD ACCOUNT NUMBER IS REQUIRED ONLY FOR ENTRY VIA THE MY ACCOUNT METHOD.

ELIGIBILITY
The Las Vegas Valley Water District My Account Giveaway (“GIVEAWAY”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Individuals may enter either as Las Vegas Valley Water District (“LVVWD”) customers through the My Account method described below or, if not LVVWD customers, through the Alternative Method of Entry described below.

Limit 1 entry per person. Void where prohibited by law.

GIVEAWAY PERIOD
July 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time through August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time ("GIVEAWAY PERIOD").

HOW TO ENTER

1. Method 1 – My Account Entry (LVVWD Customers Only)
   
   Eligible LVVWD customers may enter by signing up for a My Account or by updating/validating existing My Account information during the GIVEAWAY PERIOD at:

   To be eligible via this method, the My Account must include: account number for an active LVVWD service account, and account holder's first and last name, email address, and mobile phone number Information submitted is subject to LVVWD's Privacy Policy: https://www.lvvwd.com/about/privacy-policy/ 
2. Method 2 – Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) (No LVVWD Account Required)
   
   To enter without signing up for or updating a My Account or being an LVVWD customer, mail during the GIVEAWAY PERIOD a self-addressed postcard with your name, email address and phone number to the attention of MY ACCOUNT GIVEAWAY, Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View Boulevard, MS 780, Las Vegas, Nevada 89153.
   
   Limit (1) entry per person. Entries submitted via the AMOE will have the same odds of winning as all other eligible entries.

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS
Limit 1 entry per person regardless of method of entry.

Acknowledgment of receipt of entry does not constitute any representation by LVVWD of eligibility or selection.

In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address or phone number provided, as determined by LVVWD in its sole discretion.

Entries must be manually entered by the participant. Use of automated or robotic entry methods or like means of entry (e.g., third party giveaway-entry services) is prohibited.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
9 winners will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the GIVEAWAY PERIOD.

Winners will be notified using the phone number and/or email address provided at the time of entry.

To claim a prize, a potential winner must respond and verify eligibility within 14 calendar days of notification. If a selected winner is ineligible, disqualified, or fails to respond within the required timeframe, an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing.

Prizes will be delivered to verified winners at no cost within 30 days after winner verification. LVVWD will use reasonable efforts to contact winners. Delivery timing may be adjusted where necessary due to circumstances beyond LVVWD's control, consistent with applicable law.

PRIZES / ODDS
Nine (9) prizes will be awarded. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of prizes ranges from $22.99 to $500.99 depending on the prize.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Limit one (1) prize per household.

All federal, state, and local taxes (if any), as well as any expenses not specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash, except at LVVWD's sole discretion. LVVWD reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

Some prizes may include branded merchandise. Such brands are not sponsors of this GIVEAWAY.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Employees, officers, and directors of LVVWD, and their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate.

LVVWD's computer shall be the official clock for all purposes of the GIVEAWAY.

RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering into the GIVEAWAY, to the fullest extent allowed by law, participants agree to release, indemnify and hold the LVVWD, its Board of Directors, officers, agents and employees harmless from and against any claim, action, liability, loss, damages (including, without limitation, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages) and expenses (including, without limitation, attorney's fees) arising out of, resulting from, or in any way related or incidental to participation in the GIVEAWAY or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. LVVWD is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, illegible/garbled, corrupted, inaccessible, misdirected, incomplete, unrecorded or mutilated and all such entries are void. LVVWD is not responsible for (a) any incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking, equipment malfunction/failure or other cause; (b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission of entries, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or (c) any problems or technical malfunctions, disruptions or failures of any kind, including telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, software or programming or for damage to one's computer or mobile device due to participation in the GIVEAWAY. LVVWD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify from the GIVEAWAY and void all entries from any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering (or attempting to tamper) with the entry process or the operation of the GIVEAWAY or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; this expressly includes but is not limited to the use of multiple identities, My Accounts or any other artifice in an attempt to defraud LVVWD. The preceding in no way precludes LVVWD from taking other actions against such individuals so as to protect its legal rights. LVVWD's failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules in a given circumstance does not constitute the waiver of such provision.  

FORCE MAJEURE
If, for any reason beyond LVVWD's control, the GIVEAWAY/prizes cannot be offered as originally intended in whole or in part (such as,  unauthorized intervention,  technical failures,  natural cataclysm, riot, strike, civil commotion, governmental regulation), LVVWD reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the GIVEAWAY and select the prize winners from among all eligible entries received prior to and/or after the action taken by LVVWD (as appropriate) or otherwise in a manner which is fair, equitable and in accordance with these Official Rules, as determined by LVVWD in its sole discretion.  Notice of such action by LVVWD will be posted on www.lvvwd.com.  

DISPUTES / GOVERNING LAW
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering the GIVEAWAY, you agree that: (a) any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or this GIVEAWAY shall be filed exclusively in Nevada State court situated in Clark County, Nevada, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Nevada situated in Las Vegas, Nevada, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action, with any right of change of venue or forum non conveniens or the like being expressly waived; (b) any such action shall be resolved individually, NOT as part of a class action; (c) any claims/judgments/awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (if any), but NOT attorneys' fees (or damages/remedies/relief of any other kind). The GIVEAWAY shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada without regard to choice of law/conflict of law principles of the State of Nevada or of any other jurisdiction.   

Participants waive any right to class action claims.
