Trouble paying?

As of Sept. 1, 2020, normal billing collections and processes for delinquent and past due accounts are in place. We are continuing to work with customers facing financial hardships to establish payment arrangements.

Whether you’re online or on the go, the Las Vegas Valley Water District provides several methods to pay your bill.

We accept cash, checks, money orders, and the following credit cards:

Manage payments online with My Account

Log in to make payments using a credit card or bank account. You also can view your bill, schedule automatic monthly payments, view online payment activity, view and download past bills, switch to paperless billing, stop, add or transfer water service. NOTE: To use the My Account online system, you need to register an account.

LVVWD mobile app

How to register an account in My Account

To register, we must have the last four digits of your social security number or EIN/Tax ID number on file. You won't be able to access the online system if we can't verify these numbers with our records.

If you encounter problems signing up or would like to check the social security or Tax ID number on file, call 702-870-4194 during regular business hours to speak with a representative.

One-time payments online

Don't have an online account but still want to pay your bill online? No problem! You can make a one-time payment online using your credit card, or debit card with a credit card symbol. Your bill will not be displayed with this option. NOTE: Payments will post in 1-3 business days.

Other payment locations around the valley

You can pay your bill at several local grocery stores and retail outlets including Western Union, Smith's Grocery, and Walmart. All payments take approximately two to three business days to post. In certain situations, it may take up to five business days. We recommend scheduling your payment at least five business days before your bill is due.

For immediate credit, make your payment at the self-service payment kiosk at our Valley View office at 1001 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107 24 hours a day.

Pay by phone

Our easy-to-use voice-response system is available 24 hours a day and will guide you through:

  • Checking your account status
  • Hearing your payment due date
  • Finding a payment location near you
  • Making payments over the phone

To make payments by phone, you must have a current telephone number associated with your account. If so, then please:

  1. Call 702-870-4194 from the phone with the number listed in your account.
  2. Select option "2."
  3. After the prompt, enter either your account number or the last four digits of the primary account holder's social security number.

If you cannot call from the phone number listed on your account, you will be asked to verify your account by entering two of the following:

  • The phone number associated with your account
  • Your account number
  • The last four digits of the primary account holder’s social security number

Once you have verified your account, you may obtain information or pay your bill using your Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club International card.

If you encounter problems using the system or would like to make sure the Water District has your correct telephone number, call Customer Services at 702-870-4194 during regular business hours to speak with a representative.

Pay at our offices

Make payments by visiting our self-service payment kiosk at our Valley View office, 1001 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107. The kiosk is located outside the lobby and is available for customer use 24 hours a day.

Big Bend Water District customers may make check, credit card and cash payments at the kiosk located at 1520 Thomas Edison Drive.

Please note that our kiosks do not dispense change in coin. Any over-payment will be applied as a credit to your account.

Night drop

Drive through and drop off your check or money-order payment 24 hours a day at either of our two outside drop boxes: one at the Fulton entrance and the other at the West Charleston entrance to our office at 1001 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107

We post payments the next business day (no pending shutoffs, please). Please include your payment slip and write your account number on your check or money order.

Big Bend Water District Customers: Payment drop boxes formerly at our Thomas Edison Drive office and at the El Mirage Shopping Center have been discontinued.

Liens

If the District has recorded a lien on your property and you need to submit payment to have the lien released, the District will promptly release the lien on the property upon notification of your impending payment and after you have paid the balance in full.

If paying by personal check or cashier's check, the release of lien will not be recorded until the check has been cleared with the bank. Please be aware that the District will not accept payment by credit/debit card to release the lien.

Billing questions

If you think you've been billed incorrectly, please review our Service Fees and Charges or call Customer Care at 702-870-4194 during regular business hours. The amount of your bill must be paid to prevent discontinuance of service. Any necessary adjustments will be shown on a future bill.
